Weight Loss Update

It's the weight loss update that wasn't.  Specifically, I haven't lost anything.  I am starting to wonder if I seriously have a thyroid problem which runs rampant on both sides of my family.  So, in a last-ditch effort before I go and have everything all checked out by an appointment that requires blood being drawn, which would be super fun with 5 kids in tow, I present you my last hope:

Here's hoping it works, because I would really, really like to be able to button my jeans now that it is for real fall.


  1. I'd suggest not waiting to have your thyroid checked. Underactive thyroid and thyroid cancer are very predominant in my family. You don't want to overlook something that can be remedied. I have been having mine checked for the last few years. I'm still borderline, but I assume its only a matter of time till I need medication. The test is cheap and easy.

  2. Seriously, I love this chart. It's really funny. I kind of want to print it and send with Eleni when people need to feed her.

  3. PS- Since Eleni follows the paleo diet, let me know if you want any recipes. I have a really good one for tortillas that are more like a flatbread/pita bread, only more delicious.

  4. Seriously, I love asking myself if my food had a face. Kind of puts it into a different perspective.

  5. I love that if it has a face, then yes, you SHOULD eat it. :) Kind of awkward to do after you just confirmed it had a face.
