article. It is about an attempted assassination on a Congolese doctor who helps women
and children who have been viciously raped in Eastern DRC. I first saw it on Holly's blog:
Alama ya Kitumaini. She advocates for ethical adoption out of Congo, which is where two of our kids are from if you aren't familiar with our story.
This is the type of thing that happens all the time in Congo, and the world, for the most part ignores it. Even the massive UN force that has been mobilized there for years hasn't been able to do much.
